"The thing I like about Penn Valley Courier is it's a good news newspaper," says Marianne McKnight, editor of the Penn Valley Courier. A native of Arizona, Marianne and her family moved to Penn Valley 25 years ago. Here she and her husband, Ralph, have raised their six children. Four beautiful grandchildren have since joined the family. Marianne has always loved writing. Her stories and articles have been published in a number of national and international magazines, as well as local newspapers and publications, including The Union and The Wildwood Independent.
